NYCN Delta State Encourages Youths to Apply for Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme 2.0
The Delta State chapter of the has called on qualified youths across the state to apply for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0, a youth empowerment and employability initiative designed to tackle unemployment and build professional capacity among young Nigerians.
The programme, implemented by the in partnership with the and supported by the , offers young graduates the opportunity to gain practical workplace experience through placements in reputable public and private organisations across the country.
In a statement issued by the State Chairman of NYCN Delta State, , the council described the initiative as a strategic platform aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with relevant skills, leadership capacity, mentorship, and career development opportunities necessary for meaningful participation in national development.
According to the statement, the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme 2.0 is a 12-month fully paid fellowship programme that provides successful applicants with monthly financial support, practical industry exposure, professional networking opportunities, and employability training.
The council noted that successful fellows would receive a monthly stipend of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦150,000), alongside structured on-the-job training and career development support that could improve their chances of future employment and career advancement.
NYCN Delta State urged eligible youths in the state to take advantage of the opportunity and also encourage others within their communities and social networks to apply.
To qualify for the programme, applicants must be Nigerian citizens, possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma obtained not earlier than 2022, and have a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Upper Credit for HND holders. Applicants must also be 30 years old or below, have completed the National Youth Service Corps or possess an exemption certificate, be currently unemployed, and demonstrate interest in career development and national growth.
The council emphasized that programmes such as the NJFP remain critical in reducing unemployment, addressing youth restiveness, promoting innovation, and preparing young people for the demands of the evolving labour market.
